Dr. Saraiya is a board-certified, fellowship-trained rheumatologist at WakeMed Rheumatology, located in WakeMed North Hospital in Raleigh, North Carolina. Her clinical interests include crystal, psoriatic and rheumatoid arthritis; connective tissue diseases, vasculitis and lupus; and musculoskeletal ultrasound. She is trained and certified in MSK ultrasound and interested in nutrition and its effect on the patient. Academically, Dr. Saraiya earned her medical degree from B. J. Medical College in Ahmedabad, India and completed her residency in internal medicine at Southern Illinois University in Springfield, Illinois. She then went on to complete her fellowship in rheumatology at MedStar Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C.
