Rujuta T. Saraiya, MD, is a 2006-graduate of The B. J. Medical College in Ahmedabad, India. Her postgraduate training in the United States includes an internal medicine residency served at Southern Illinois University College of Medicine in Springfield, Illinois, as well as a rheumatology fellowship performed at MedStar Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C.. Dr. Sarayia attained board certification in internal medicine and the subspecialty of rheumatology with the American Board of Internal Medicine. In addition, she is trained and certified in MSK ultrasound. Dr. Sarayia is a member of several professional societies and associations, which allows her to remain at the forefront of her challenging field. When not working, she enjoys cooking, reading, traveling, watching shows and movies and spending time with her family. In addition to English, she speaks Hindi and Gujarati.
